Ocean Finance, Reef Restoration
ICRI provided guidance on coral reefs for a publication by the IUCN on using ecosystem risk assessment science in ecosystem restoration.
The publication provides a guide on applying the Red List of Ecosystems to ecosystem restoration. Ecosystem restoration includes a range of restorative activities, often implemented in tandem to develop co-benefits for people, nature, and planet. With the launch of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration in 2021, it seems the ideal moment to show in clear guide how Red List of Ecosystems contribute to planning, support implementation, and monitor success of ecosystem restoration.
