Meetings Other Relevant Events
Global Coral Reef Week is a new initiative by Chelsie Counsell, Franziska Elmer and Judy Lang, who wanted to create a coral reef conference for which participants do not need to fly.
From the 1st until the 14th of July, you can watch over 100 recorded talks by coral reef scientists and practitioners on the Global Coral Reef Week YouTube channel. They are prerecorded and you can watch them when it fits your schedule best.
In the week of the 6th to the 10th of July there will be exciting live content offered every day. You can listen to 9 plenary talks and get to know 3 different coral reef ecosystems and research/management groups through the talk sessions prepared by our local organizers. There will also be 2 virtual networking events where you can get to know other participants in small groups and a Trivia to conclude Global Coral Reef Week.
These talks will be added to the YouTube channel after the live event to make them available in other time zones and for people who have other commitments during the live events.
The entire conference is free to attend for anyone, however, you need to register for each talk/event which can be done here.
