Combining both coral science and satellite imagery with mapping and monitoring techniques, the Allen Coral Atlas is a game-changing coral conservation tool powered by Arizona State University and developed in partnership with Planet, the Coral Reef Alliance, the University of Queensland and Vulcan, and coral reef scientists, universities, NGOs and private entities.
With the new data feature, you can now monitor coral reefs within specific national maritime boundaries, and view and download reef data for a specific country.
The source of these boundaries is the Flanders Marine Institute’s EEZ Boundaries dataset.
