General Meeting

The 35th ICRI General Meeting will be held virtually the week of February 1st 2021

Although the 35th ICRI General Meeting was held virtually (for the very first time) due to the to COVID-19 pandemic, around 130 participants from 60 out of the 90 ICRI members turned up and participated in a productive and interesting meeting. General information

In light of the current global situation related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), the ICRI Secretariat will organise a virtual General Meeting the week of February 1st, 2021. The 3 following sessions will be held:

  • Monday, February 1st, 2021 – Opening, ICRI business (membership requests, ICRI governance) and a session on the Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN)
  • Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 – Report from the ICRI ad hoc committees, and ICRI members
  • Friday, February 5th, 2021 – Future activities, meeting outcomes and closing

The sessions will start at 11:00 AM (GMT + 1) and will be recorded.

Fanny Didou is a graphic recorder and visual harvester. She founded “sketching the move” in order to support dialogue through a universal language: drawing. She will be sketching the GM and producing beautiful illustrations capturing each of three days of the meeting.
